He runs a sub-7.0 60-yard dash and combines that athleticism with the value of being a left-handed hitter and thrower. His speed, athleticism, and ability to make adjustments give him an intriguing foundation as he continues to develop.

Offense: Cruz works from the back of the box with a toe-tap load and has recorded a 4.3 home-to-first time. He does an excellent job making adjustments from at-bat to at-bat, showing an understanding of what pitchers are trying to do and the ability to adapt. He currently profiles best as a gap-to-gap hitter, with power potential still developing as he adds strength.
